Pricing FAQ
Everything you'd want to know about how WebsiteTracker pricing works — before you decide.

UNDERSTANDING THE SCAN MODEL
What counts as a "page" for billing purposes?
Any unique URL that WebsiteTracker crawls and indexes counts as one page. This includes crawled on-site pages, sitemap URLs, landing pages, and form pages. We crawl your full site footprint, not just your main navigation. Redirected pages and subdomain pages are not counted. You can see your full page count at any time inside your dashboard.
What happens when I exceed my plan's included page volume?
Every additional page beyond your monthly threshold is billed at $0.01 per page. The counter resets at the start of each billing cycle. Your dashboard shows real-time usage, so you're never caught off guard.
Do I need to complete a scan before I can start monitoring?
Yes — the free scan is part of the sign-up process. When you start for free, we scan your site first to understand its size and structure. From there, you'll see what each plan will cost for your site and can choose the right fit before monitoring begins.
Weekly vs. daily scanning — how do I choose?
That depends on three things only you can assess: how large and complex your site is, how much you rely on it for leads and revenue, and how often it changes. If your site is business-critical or changes frequently, daily gives you a tighter window to catch issues. If it's more stable, weekly is a strong fit for most teams.
Run your free scan first — we'll show you what each plan will cost for your site. You choose from there.
Why is your session count higher than GA4?
GA4 and standard analytics tools only tell part of the story — and it's incomplete by design. They're missing more than half of your actual visitor volume, whether from bots, visitors who've opted out, or those blocking third-party cookies. ActivityIntel is powered by MagicTracker, our proprietary first-party tracking technology, which captures 100% of website traffic and leads — including all bot activity. That difference is intentional: understanding your full traffic picture, including low-quality traffic, is part of what ActivityIntel is built to surface. When you see our session count alongside GA4, the gap between them is meaningful data in itself.
Billing
How does billing work?
WebsiteTracker bills at the end of each billing period based on your actual usage. When you sign up, we capture your payment information and provide an estimated invoice so you know what to expect. Your final invoice is calculated at the end of the month based on your plan, page volume, and any add-ons. If you make changes mid-cycle — adding services or switching plans — those are pro-rated based on your remaining billing period. Your billing cycle is based on the day you signed up, not the calendar month. For details on how add-on billing works specifically, see the add-ons section below. All prices are exclusive of applicable sales tax, which is the client's responsibility.
What does "start for free" mean?
It means no payment is required upfront. You run your free scan, you'll see what each plan will cost for your site, and you won't be billed until the end of your first billing period. This gives you a full month to experience the product before any charges are made.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can switch between weekly and daily scanning, add or remove add-ons, or cancel at any time. If you cancel, you'll be charged at the end of your current billing cycle based on actual usage.
Do you offer volume pricing for agencies managing multiple client sites?
Yes — volume pricing is available for agencies and teams managing multiple domains. Contact us to talk through what makes sense for your portfolio size and client mix.
What does the custom/enterprise plan include?
Custom plans are built around your specific scope — multi-domain coverage, agency-tier client management, flexible billing structures, and dedicated onboarding support. Pricing is based on site size, structure, and monitoring needs. Request a custom quote to get started.
Add-ons
What add-ons are available?
Two add-ons are currently available to SiteIntel customers: ActivityIntel ($199.99+/mo) and MarketIntel ($9.99/mo). Both layer on top of your existing SiteIntel plan and activate immediately when added.
What is ActivityIntel and how is it priced?
ActivityIntel is a complete website activity and lead tracker with 100% visibility and built-in fraud detection, powered by MagicTracker. It captures 100% of website traffic and leads — including all bot activity — and distinguishes between real people, good bots, and unknown or malicious bots. It includes fraud scoring on every visitor, lead scoring on every lead, and built-in lead verification for a clean, high-quality pipeline. It's usage-based at $0.005 per session (our count), with a $199.99+/mo minimum — which includes up to 40k sessions per month. Estimated monthly costs at common session volumes: 40k → $200 / 50k → $250 / 100k → $500 / 150k → $750.
What is MarketIntel and what does it include?
MarketIntel is a $9.99/mo add-on that gives you continuous intelligence to benchmark performance, assess visibility, and protect your digital reputation. It includes three core modules: Competitor Intelligence (monthly scan of your top competitors across 11 key dimensions), Site Visibility (daily assessment of your site's AI readiness scored across 7 dimensions), and External Link Health (monthly review of external links on your site with authority scoring and high-risk identification).
How does add-on billing work?
Add-ons activate immediately when added and are prorated for the remainder of your current billing cycle. Removals take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. ActivityIntel is billed based on actual session usage. MarketIntel is billed at the flat monthly rate.
